OK, the wardrobe is finally complete! And as much as I dislike IKEA, I also love IKEA and we can afford their home furnishings. Anyway, the wardrobe has been complete for about a week. However, this included putting it all together once, realizing that the configuration of wardrobe sections and sliding door would not work, taking it all apart, going to IKEA, buying the new sections, having them delivered, and then putting it all back together! That's just too much work. So who's to blame for the incorrect wardrobe configuration? Kevin, the engineer? The intelligent salesman from IKEA? No. The idiot computer programmer (probably outsourced) who wrote the software that they use in the store for putting your wardrobe together.
Anyway. The wardrobe is great, it helped us to reclaim a ton of wasted space in the hallway. I'm sure taking down the drop ceiling had something to do with that too though. One day here, Uncle Derek and I will finish the ceiling tiles that he graciously started working on while Michelle and I were relaxing in Jamaica.
Here are some pictures!
What you see walking up the stairs. It's narrow so you don't get much perspective. Nope, that is not the light fixture we will be using.

Inside right of the wardrobe. Shelves, drawers, clothes:

Inside left of the wardrobe. Shelves, clothes, pull out wire baskets, fun!:

The dead wardrobe frames. Dude, I am not excited about moving these again, they are heavy!
