Mother Goose would be proud!
The nursery officially began with Kevin and Dad (Grandpa) Smith ripping down ugly panels in the "small bedroom," exposing some lovely cracks in the plaster and some less than stellar electrical work... And that was enough for the moment!
Thanks to Dad (Grandpa) Wahila, we have made some more significant progress in the nursery! Dad and Kevin worked hard to get outlets/switches in, plastering done and wood stripped. We also made an IKEA trip (with the minivan!) to pick up a bunch of stuff for the house. And, once we can't see daylight through our closet we will be on a roll!

looking good...so this minivan that you speak of was on loan from derek and ann...correct?
OH ABSOLUTELY ON LOAN!!!! Driving it reaffirmed for me that I cannot drive a huge spaceship around Pittsburgh (or anywhere for that matter)!
Don't get me wrong - the van was great for the IKEA run, we needed it! However, it is just soooo big!
